Windows 10: Bizzare display behavior

The following is a typical display problem which started suddenly on my HP 2019 Premium Flagship Probook 450 G6 15.6 Full HD 1920x1080 Business Laptop, Intel 4-Core i7-8565U, Bluetooth, HDMI, Win 10 Pro, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD W/ Hesvap Accessories. I have not had any problems until recently. Has anyone experienced this behavior?

Bizzare behavior of fonts and sizing in applications with Windows 10

I have at least two programs that are showing very bizarre behavior of fonts and sizing of dialog boxes in programs or the installation dialogue boxes. Either the fonts are enormous blocking out the underlying boxes, or so tiny as to become unreadable.
After a lot of discussion with the developers, the problem is not in the applications, but Windows 10. I proved this by loading the identical programs onto another Windows 10 PC and it works fine. I've checked through all the compatibility fixes, and checked
the font scaling and sizing and set them to their defaults. I suspect that the problem is in the fonts themselves - that the applications are using a bad version or something. I tried to use the restore fonts to default, but the option is grayed out. I really
need to fix this! I'd like to try to restore the original Windows fonts, or ones that I got from the computer that displays the app correctly. What are the exact steps I need to take to do this, or is there something else that I might be missing.

 

Display driver not supporting and device manager not showing Display adapter option

This issue could have occurred due to these reasons:

• Incorrect settings.
• Corrupt or outdated display driver.

Try the steps listed here and check if it helps:

Method 1:

I suggest you to download and install all the available Windows Updates including Optional Updates. Check if it helps.

Method 2:

If the issue persists, i suggest you to uninstall and re-install latest display driver from the computer manufacturer website and check if it helps.

Step 1: Uninstall display driver.

• Right-click on the Start Button and click on
  Device manager.
• Double-click on Display Adapters to expand.
• Right-click on the display adapter driver that is listed and select properties.
• In the window opened, click on drivers tab.
• In the drivers tab, Click on Uninstall option.

Now restart your computer and check, if the problem persists try step 2.

Step 2:

Re-install display driver from the manufacturer website.
