Windows 10: Black background on png vector thumbnails

Hey all, as I've delved into the world of vectors and image editing, I've been running into the problem of vectorized images/images with transparent backgrounds showing as black in Windows File Explorer thumbnails. This makes it tedious when I'm searching through folders of images looking for exact ones I want to use.I've gone through many posts online and none of the fixes have worked, including the Thumbnails option in Disk Cleanup, command prompt cleanups, all drivers up to date, dark mode off etc. Also spoke with a Windows Tech and he had no solutions.I can't be the only person still runni

White and Black Thumbnails for when the background is black or white?

Is it possible to get white thumbnails for the windows phone when the background is black? (and vice-versa)

If not will it be possible in the future?

One possible reason for the black background of some PNG files is a corrupt thumbnail cache. Another possible reason is that you are using a dark theme in Windows 10, which may affect the contrast of the thumbnails.

To prevent Windows or other apps from deleting the thumbnail cache without your permission, you can try to disable the automatic maintenance task that clears the cache.

To do this, follow these steps:

• Open the Task Scheduler app.
  
• Go to Task Scheduler Library > Microsoft > Windows > DiskCleanup.
  
• Right-click on the task named SilentCleanup and select Disable.
  
• Restart your computer and check if the problem persists.
  

Windows should not "get tired" after generating a certain number of thumbnails in one sitting.

However, if you notice that the thumbnails are slow to load or disappear after a while, you may need to increase the size of the thumbnail cache.

To do this, follow these steps:

• Open the Registry Editor app.
  
• Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer.
  
• Right-click on the Explorer key and select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.
  
• Name the new value ThumbnailSize and set its data to the desired size in bytes.
  
  For example, if you want to allocate 1 GB of space for the cache, set the data to 1048576.
  
• Restart your computer and check if the problem is resolved.

Black background on thumbnails. i need it to be white
