Windows 10: Black background on random embroidery thumbnails

Hi,I've been using file explorer for a lifetime. Recently, random thumbnails of embroidery designs in File Explorer, Win 10, build 19041, have a black background and look distorted like in a funhouse hall of mirrors.Using embroidery files for most of my workday, it is important for me to see them without opening the file in the appropriate software, that is up to date.I've cleared the cache and set the registry to not delete thumbnails. I then went through my files in File Explorer and set about regenerating the cache, large icons.Who in the world decided that people don't need to see thumbn

Hello,
I am not super knowledgeable about this issue, but I wonder if uninstalling and reinstalling your embroidery program will fix the thumbnail issue. My reasoning is that uninstalling the program will clear any settings, and reinstalling the program will give it a fresh start and fix the embroidery thumbnail issue. This may erase your program's settings, a downside, unless there is an option to back up the settings in the program.

Another idea:
I wonder if the program currently displaying the thumbnails, whatever it may be, has something wrong with it, like some broken files? Sometimes programs have a "repair" option when you go to uninstall them that is supposed to repair any broken program files. Or they released a bad program update that caused issues.
