Windows 10: Black box appearing on screen over apps

This has happened a few times in the past but has since stopped but restarted again. It happens totally at random and if I'm playing a game it completely closes out the game without warning. The only way I've found to get rid of it is to restart my whole computer which is inconvenient. Task Manager says no out of place tasks are running that it could be. It's always in the same place lower right corner, just above taskbar. Mouse can be seen over it but considers cursor being over whatever is underneath that it's blocking and therefore can't be interacted with. Thought it was something weird

Mail app- dot appears in text box.

I would request you to send a screen shot of the "Dot" that appears on your mail app.

As of now, I would suggest that you perform the steps mentioned below and check if the issue persist.



Step 1: Run App Troubleshooter.

• On the search bar type “Troubleshooter”
• Click on troubleshooter, on the left view pane, locate “View All”.
• Then locate and click on “Windows Store Apps”.

The thread which u provided is when windows hang but in my case it doesn't hang it works fine but as u see in first picture icons,taskbar are displayed
