Windows 10: Black line appearing under certain apps

I have pretty new laptop used for 10 months. I restart my laptop and i got log out automatically from most of the apps Microsoft edge, Google chrome, Microsoft teams. gmail etc... However i fix this problem by signing in all of them but when opening any photos on my pc I am unable to open that pic. It keeps telling that you need an app to open. When i checked my inbuilt photos app from the windows button i found that certain apps showing a black line under it and photos is one of the app.Please help me to fix this issue..

Black horizontal lines appearing across laptop screen

Took delivery of a brand new laptop yesterday with the following specs:

Unpacked it, started using it, only to find black horizontal lines appearing across the screen sporadically. I updated all drivers, downloaded and installed all Windows updates but to no avail. Screenshots:

Some points to note:

• I had the laptop connected to the TV screen and the lines appeared on
  the TV as well, thus suggesting it's not a screen issue.
  
• Because it's a sporadic and somewhat rare event, I can't say whether
  the lines appear during a particular operation/screen or
  anytime/anywhere.
  

I've done a bit of poking around on the net and found that usually the culprit is the graphics card, but not sure. Any suggestions?

 

Blue lines appearing on any black background

Hiand welcome to 10F. Since those lines appear in screenshots, problem is most probably in graphic interface so I'd suggest returning laptop for RMA or refund. There may be other problems with it too.

 

Red Wavy Lines appear in edge

Hi,

I would request you to reset the edge settings and then check if it helps.

Refer the steps below to reset Edge.

Steps:-

        First of all launch Microsoft Edge Browser.
        
      • 
        After that click on “More action” option which is visible at top right side of the browser and you will see “Settings” option.
        
      • 
        Under “Settings” scroll down and you will see a button “Choose what to clear” under “Clear browsing data” option.
        
      • 
        Once you click on this option you will see list of feature like
        

• Browsing History
• Cookies and saved website data
• Cached data and file
• Download history
• Form data
• Password.

Please revert if the red wavy lines appear while using edge.
