    Black line on monitor after opening it


    Im having an issue with my monitor.So recently I ordered a monitor arm because I wanted to mount my second monitor vertically. Today I opened up my monitor and took out the base stand for the monitor. After closing it down and plugging it back in there is a black line on my monitor.The monitor is the samsung C27F390FHI believe the issue is that while I was prying the monitor open a connection inside the monitor became loose but I dont know what to do

    This issue could be due to an issue on the hardware, or the software. To isolate the cause of black lines across it, please provide the following information:



    • When did the issue start to occur?
    • Are there any recent changes on the device?
    • Are the lines appearing vertically, or horizontally?
    • Which version of Windows is running on your device?
    • Do you have a spare monitor which you can try to use on the same CPU?

    This happens 2min after lines go acrost the screen black and white it has happened twice as I am righting this message no hard wear or soft wear changes.

    This laptop has been back to HP
