Windows 10: Black screen after log in (tried multiple methods to fix)

Hi, i have recently ran into a black screen which only shows my mouse after log in. I have tried multiple methods to fix it and finally came across a method of rolling back my graphics driver in safe mode which has worked. Then i have turned off auto updates so that it doesn't automatically download the incompatible driver again. The next day when i booted up my pc, i had the black screen again, i have went into safe mode, but i couldn't roll back my graphics driver, so i have restarted my pc, and it suddenly worked. Today i come across the black screen again and i couldn't roll back my driver again and after a few restarts it didn't work, so i manually installed a compatible graphics driver in safe mode and it worked, but after turning off my pc and turning it back on a few hours later. I still have the black screen. Can anyone please help, i do not want to reset my pc as i would have to download lots of games which take a long time for me to download and i dont wamt to spend 30 mins everytime i turn on my pc to load into safe mode and keep downloading drivers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Black Screen after Log on


Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad

So this is not a BSOD ? Have a Windows 10 disc or USB Flash Drive made ? How are you getting to task manager Ctrl.+Alt+Del ? Any cursor on screen ?

Laptop or Desktop (Very important) Windows 10 build 14.586 has a very annoying BUG: That causes Black Screen after login:
To date there is no cure until Microsoft send Update to fix the problem: OK here goes: When you Login and the Screen Goes Black ==>
Go to your Function Keys for Screen Brightness Chose to Lighten the Screen (This will make the screen Bright) so that you can view it.
The BUG is that they reversed (via Software) what the Brightness button does -- So it is currently reversed -- "Lighten" makes it Dark -- "Darken" makes it Bright ==> Go figure Microsoft screw the pooch on this one. . . .

This is for LAPTOP -- I have never seen this on Desktops but they are fixed rather than adjustable
