Windows 10: Black screen after login

As title mentions. Login is fine, screen's black. There is a cursor and I can access the ctrl-alt-delete menu + all its functions. I've restarted multiple times, through the UI or the restart button. I've held down the power button and turned it back on. I've shut off my power supply, held down the button for a minute and then started it up- thing's still not working. This all started happening after an update.
