Windows 10: Black screen after opening laptop screen from sleep

I have a Lenovo ideapad 330S and I have been running into an issue lately. After I open my laptop screen from sleep, sometimes, the screen will go black with no cursor. My power button is lit up as well as my backlit keys. This also happens sometimes when I shut down my laptop. It will go black and the keys and power button are still lit, and will not shut down, so I then have to hold the power button for a couple of seconds to forcibly power it down. This is a very annoying issue, and if I have unsaved work on my laptop and I open the screen from sleep I am forced to restart it by holding the power button; losing any schoolwork I hadn't saved. Something else that is strange is when I play the minecraft version 1.8 - 1.8.9, the screen will go black at random times. I will then have to tab out of the game by pressing the windows button and enter back in via the taskbar. The other thing that happens just as often is when I'm playing the same version of minecraft the screen will go black but I'm unable to tab out and back in and after about thirty seconds the lights from my keys and power button will turn off and the computer will simply restart itself. I find this strange because it doesn't happen on any other versions of the game although it might happen on earlier versions i.e. 1.7. I'm thinking it might be the way the program is run compared to newer versions ? This is an annoying issue because I can't play online properly if I'm not on that version but it probably won't help solve the issue.

Laptop with broken screen How much?

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

 

Toshiba Laptop Black Screen

I have a Toshiba Laptop, Was reinstalling windows 7 on it last night left it doing the updates then shut it down. Turned it on this this afternoon only to find the laptop screen is Black and also there is a burning smell coming from the Fan.

I connected the Laptop to a external monitor that is fine, Can go into bios, Windows boots up fine Etc.
Just took apart the laptop earlier to check all the cables where in correctly, Checked the motherboard over for any damage, burnt bits but but found nothing. Just put it back together now but im still getting this burning smell and i still cant use the laptop screen only a external screen.

I Tried Pressing FN+F5 to switch to the laptop screen, But still black screen. Any Suggestions please ?

Laptop screen black after turning on from Sleep

On the list of drivers for my laptop on the HP website, I can't see any Video drivers.

I searched online and it says Graphics Drivers and Video drivers are the same thing, can you confirm that?

I also tried updating my Video driver, but it still showed an unresponsive black sleep screen.

Any suggestions are welcome
