Windows 10: Black screen after sign in page post update

Hi, so my laptop runs windows 10. I sae there was an update for windows 10 and also an option to update to windows 11, i ignored both. I went to put my laptop into sleep mode because i was going out and saw it was updating before going into sleep mode. Im unsure if it was the windows 10 update or updating to windows 11.The problem is when i came back home, the screen is stuck as black after signing in. The sign in screen is still fine with background and everything. But when I go past the sign in page its just a black screen with my cursor.I tried restarting and the same problem persists.Im ab

• What is the make and model of your device?
• Were you able to see any error code/ error message with this issue?

I would like to inform that this issue might have occurred due to drivers for display adapter.
