Windows 10: Black Screen And Loud PC Fans When hitting the table.

I've used my PC for over a year now, I've had this problem before and I got it fixed by a computer repair technician. But It's happening again.I was in a middle of an competitive game and lost my temper and I smashed the table top. After I did, my screen would go black and my pc fans starts being loud. Nothing really happens until I turn off the switch to my pc and boot it up again. When it does It shows to skip disk checking press any key ... Seconds. PC Fans Running Loud

Interesting that this started with 2004. Could be all the activity of the install and subsequent processes caused the fans to accelerate into high and maybe that dislodge a "Fur Ball" that has now settled into a space where it is causing even more issues.


Having been a cat owner my recommendation would be to first rule this out. If you haven't cleaned your machine in some time ( or the filters that protect the intakes ) the time is now.

computer blue screened saying it overheated started back up fan on cpu was really loud.

dell dimension 4600c

thinking it jsut needs a new fan, checked bios doesnt seem to be anything in there about fan speed/temperatures/power management

looking for any possible suggestions before i order a new fan for the thing.

 

Fan speed too high and receives black screen

• What was the reason for you to perform a reset?
• Does that mean you receive black screen on the desktop?

Once done with that, let’s check the cause for the fan speed.

a. While on the desktop, right-click on the taskbar, click on
Task Manager.

b. Click on the Processes tab and check if any processes that is running high.

If none of the process is running high then I suggest you to update the graphics card driver and check if it resolves the issue.

1. Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device
Manager”.

2. In the list of devices, you should see the Display Drivers.

3. Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".

4. In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.

5. In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes” option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.
