Windows 10: black screen crash when GPU is in heavy use

I've been trying to troubleshoot this issue on my own, but I'm at my wits' end and hoping someone here can help. Fingers crossed!I built my rig about 9 months ago, and things have mostly gone smoothly ... except for very occasional crashes to a black screen when running high-performance games. In the past, I'd uninstall & update drivers, physically reinstall the GPU, reboot, and things would mysteriously seem to go away for a while. But in the last week, this happens more and more, and now nothing seems to fix it.I can reproduce the issue by either running high-end games Cyberpunk, Red De

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to go to device manager and disable the display drivers, check whether the issue persists or not.

• Press Windows + X keys and click
  Device manager.
• Click to expand Display adapters, right click the second adapter and click
  Disable.
• Restart the computer and check whether the issue persists or not.
• Repeat the same steps to disable the first display adapter and check if it helps.

If you find the issue is with anyone of the display adapters then, I suggest you to update the display drivers from the manufactures website for Windows 10 and check if it helps.

Black Screen Crash, Audio Still Plays

Okay, following the steps you just provided has proven that the problem is indeed linked to the graphics card. I can play games without the black screen crash occurring, however, the games run very poorly and are very lag-heavy. Also, the HDMI port on
the card is not working, which is odd because the VGA port on the card works. I've tried installing older drivers, first those from August and then those from January, and both cause the black screen crash issue to happen again. Does this mean I need to buy
a new graphics card?
