Black Screen of Death

This black screen has avoided my usual troubleshooting skill. So I need help. Screen is black. I try ctrl +win+shift+B and the login arrives just long enough to log in. After login has past in the black I do that again and I see the boot went normal for 5 secs max. Goes black again. Ctrl+ shift+ Del let's me see that screen but goes black before I can do anything. Nothing else I've tried worked. Same symptoms with and without GPU installed. Running off Motherboard graphics currently. Hope you guys have a suggestion.

 

CTRL ALT DEL Black Screen

• Have you installed all pending updates?
• Are you able to log into Desktop?
• Is the issue specific to Ctrl + Alt + Del screen?

Black screen error can occur if the computer is not up to date with all Drivers and Windows updates. Install all pending updates and check if that helps.

Computer Black Screen

When there is a black screen click the following 4 keys simultaneously and report what you see and hear into the thread:
Windows logo key + Ctrl + Shift + B
(you can practice when there is no black screen)

There are log collectors used in another forum room.
Run each V2 and DM and upload results into this thread:

List the antivirus software in use on the computer.
