    Hello, today my computer crashed, and now everytime i boot it, i get the issues mentioned in the title. I can't open task manager, i can't even restart in safe mode. The computer is completely useless and I have no idea how to fix it.

    After the crash, i encountered a boot loop issue which i fixed by reinserting my RAM cards. I dont know if that had anything to do with it

    I have the black screen flashing taskbar problem (which can happen to anyone and makes the computer unusable). This problem has been known since 2015 but has no solution and the forum thread has been locked, so no-one can post anything any more.

    Even a PC reset could not fix this problem for me. Fixing the user profile also doesn't work. Task manager works, ending the task explorer.exe works, blinking stops, but the computer can't function without explorer.exe of course.

    The only other thing I could try would be a PC reset with all data delete, but then I would not only lose all my files it may also delete the manufacturer's apps, which are needed to run the hardware.

    Is there any other solution than buying a new computer?

    So this is not a BSOD ? Have a Windows 10 disc or USB Flash Drive made ? How are you getting to task manager Ctrl.+Alt+Del ? Any cursor on screen ?
