Windows 10: Black Screen of Death Error. Please help!

Hello, thank you for helping me in advance. I have a Dell Inspiron 4590 and I have installed a modded version of Windows 10 on it. It is very popular and my defender never detected any virus on my laptop. Recently, I started getting a few blue screen of deaths. I turned off my laptop and turned it on again. Then I started getting sudden crashes and screen tearing and a lot of weird things started happening on my display. Then it got to this page where it stated "Recovery Your pc did not shut down properly" something like this. This happened 2 or 3 times then my laptop just went into a black sc

Windows 7 black screen of death

I read a report a little while ago that said the black screens were nothing to do with updates but due to a malicious program (it hit more than just windows 7 users - vista, xp and 2000 were also prone to the black startup screen of death if infected). My windows 7 install is fully up-to-date and i've never had the black startup screen.

Just run some decent anti virus and you should be safe (i suggest microsoft security essentails since it's free and pretty decent). When you've installed an anti-virus i'd suggest doing a full scen to be sure there's nothing there.
