Windows 10: black screen of death windows 10 no cursor

the last time I was able to use my computer i shut it off AFTER an update was complete. i packed it up with bubblewrap and some pillows as i just moved a few hours away when i hooked everything up no signal. nothing on the computer would indicate its an external problem that i can see or hear when i start the pc.


all i can do is press the power button, neither of my monitors, which do work ( ive tested them), will pick up any signal from the pc with a dvi, hdmi, or dvi-hdmi converter cable in any slot on the pc.


ive tried, multiple times to access my bios and safe mode to no avail, i remember the button to my bios was f2 in case it wasnt f2 ive tried esc, del, f1, f2, f5, f6, f7, f8, f10, f12, and pretty much any other f button


other online solutions ive tried include:

1. reseating my ram

2. removing any dust from the case and pc parts

3. uplugging my hdmi/dvi and plugging back in after my computer boots up

4. downloading windows 10 installation media tool onto a usb flash drive

5. using different ac adapters for my pc


currently im just leaving it on just in case it it will work randomly, this has never happened before, dunno what else to do, please help, thanks

Sounds like the old... windows black screen of death.

I Computer have a black screen of death, no cursor, no way to get into safe mode, bios, anywhere totally and utterly unresponsive. What is this really am I gonna loose my PC because of microsoft.

My question is is this, is there nothing that I can do?

All the answers I see out there presuppose that you have at least a cursor visible or are able to start in safe mode or get into the bios. I can't get no where it turns on a black screen and that is it.

Really Microsoft give me an answer. What do I do?
