  1. Black screen on my moniter and no signal after rerolling graphics driver.

So basically I was having a bunch of lag and screen blinking whilst playing games on my windows 11 pc, the screen blinking had been happening ever since I updated my Intel driver recently, so i tried rerolling the driver. After I did that my screen went blank and showed 'No signal' on the screen. My Pc turns on completely fine and makes noise as it does usually, however I cant seem to get my moniter to work. I tried connecting another pc to my moniter and it worked fine, so it isn't the moniter and I even connected my pc to ANOTHER moniter, and that DIDNT work, so I assume it's a driver iss

Moniter power up but fails to show anything.

    Windows 10 version 1909.

I just installed a new to me graphics card in my wifes desktop but the moniter shows a blue screen, a message saying HDMI no signal and then goes black. I changed the cable back to the on board graphics but it does the same thing. Everything was OK before I made he card change. Suggestions please, the wife is NOT happy with me at the moment.

Asus Moniter. Asus PBZ 77V Pro motherboard on board graphics.

I've removed the graphics card (EVGA GeForce GTX 1050) and the machine is now in it's original working state. Everything powers up but the moniter still goes black after the intial blue screen no signal message. Any further suggestions please?

With the PC running and no moniter I assume that a network dongle plugged into a USB socket should flash indicating a connection, yes? The USB socket powers up a USB drive but the dongle does not flash and the PC does not come up on the network. Does this indicate that the unit is not booting up?

    Black screen on Edge

    Hello,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    Please answer the question below:

    • Did you make any recent hardware/software changes?
    • Is the complete screen black?

Uninstall and Reinstall the Graphics Card Drivers.

Step 1: Uninstall the Graphics Card
    Drivers

    • Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard.

    • Click on “Device Manager” from that list.

    • Search for the Graphics Card
from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device” you may select that and then remove the corrupted drivers
      from the computer.

    • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and then restart the computer if prompted.

After the restart, please go ahead with the next steps to install the latest drivers and check if that resolves the issue.

Update Driver Software from the Manufacturer’s website:

Step 2: Go to the Computer or Graphics Card
manufacturer’s website and search for the latest Windows 10 drivers available for the
Graphics Card model and then install it by following the instructions given in the website.

Please get back to us with the screen shot of the black screen.

I would suggest you to check this link and see if it helps.

    Redirecting

I hope this helps you. If you have any further queries, feel free to contact us. We will be happy to help you.

    Thank you.
