Windows 10: Black screen on start up, no keyboard, no monitors.

I had an issue with black screens during games a little back, got it fixed by upgrading my CPU, GPU, and PSU. I took it to a tech after that because the issue was still persisting, they made room on the hard drive a bit and done some other minor things like check my wires and update windows. It seemed to have fixed it for a while, I was able to play video games as I once was before this issue but a couple days after I got it back from the tech this new issue; black screen on startup started happening! I replaced my HDMI cables, I tried multiple things with my monitors like only running one, sw

Black Screen solveed definitively

I have this same issue. Windows 10 was installed and was working fine on my laptop and then one day, black screen without a cursor or anything. I can only power the unit off and on, but with nothing other than a black screen I can't do anything. Tried the "ctrl-password" step but nothing. Nothing on the keyboard has any effect, I can only do a hard power off/on.

The only thing I can think of, all had been working fine when my battery died. My laptop automatically shut down and went to blank (not black) screen. I plugged it in for a while to charge but ever since then, I can power on, I hear the harddrive spin and the fan comes on, but I never get anything other than a black screen. Did your problem start after a power issue?

I would suggest you try the power troubleshooter if you are able to boot into the system.

Follow the steps below.

• Press Windows key + W and type Troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting and click on System and Security.
• Click on Power and follow the onscreen steps.
