Windows 10: Black screen on startup, then after a minute or two desktop appears!

So i have this laptop for around 3 years now and up until now it has ran pretty smoothly.

Until, one day, once i opened my laptop like usual, and signed in on my account using my password i noticed something was odd. It was a black screen issue. I can still move my mouse around and my taskbar is visible. However, once i use ctrl+Alt+Del to open up task manager to see whats wrong, i realize that the window did not appear and i cannot do anything but search up black screen problems on my phone. In the middle of researching, the desktop suddenly pops up and basically went back to normal.

The problem is that this happens every time i turn on my laptop and i am sure that the problem is not in the hardware as the black screen did not occur on my work account.

Is there a way on how to fix this?

Black Screen after Log on


Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad

 

Black Screen for A Few Minutes After Login

First of all, thanks in advanced for your help. I've been having this issue for quite a while and it's still happening.

Every time after I log in (password screen), the screen only displays black screen for a few minutes before the background and everything shows up. During the black screen, I can press the windows key on my keyboard and the taskbar appear.

I tried disabling App Readiness service but the issue still persists. The issue disappear if I reboot using safe mode.

Are there any steps to troubleshoot the issue?
