Windows 10: Black screen on startup / wake-up

Hello everyone, It's now been a week that i have this problem, every time i start my pc up i have to disconnect and reconnect my DP cable from the graphics card in order for the screen to show anything, it does detect the pc because it comes out of sleep mode, it just stays black until I disconnect and reconnect.. it also does this when the pc goes to sleep. I never had this problem before and it started when i used my pc with an HDMI cable for the first time



does anyone know how to solve this? the PC is relatively knew and the monitor is 2 months old (rtx2070 gpu with Samsung G9 monitor)

  Are you getting black screen after Sign in?
