Windows 10: Black screen problem related to compatibility of two video cards

Hello and thank you for listening.I have a high-end computer I built with an Intel i5 12th Gen with integrated Intel UHD 730 video card and another video card I bought a year ago, AMD RX 6650 XT. For the past few days, when I turn on some "big" video game like Horizon Zero Dawn, I get two results:In the first case, where both video cards are system-enabled in Device Manager and the game should automatically decide to use the more powerful one, the computer goes to black screen with no possibility to access other applications such as Task Manager;In the second case, that is, when I activate one

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's not a software related issue which is why I was suggesting that you remove the video card to start with since it's such an easy process of elimination step.

I'm not familiar with AMD CPUs, I did see that you had listed in your system specs but I had no idea whether or not it has an iGPU

Is there any possibility of you being able to get your hands on any compatible video card at all?it would be the easiest step to try to troubleshoot or at least one of the easier ones. You should be able to get into the bios without anything but A display cable hooked up to the motherboard

 

sd card problem with videos

It says the best driver is already installed. I really think it's an issue related to the sd card hardware or driver. The problem doesn't happen if the videos are on the hard drive.

I suggest you invest in a new PSU with your money. Now for the problem at hand... clear all video related drivers out and then install newest cats. Lower your over clock a little, maybe 500/500 for starters. I had black screens, and it was because my overclock was too high, even though it was clear of artifacts.
