Windows 10: Black Screen Randomly

Good day! I just want to ask about my laptop. My model is HP Pavilion Notebook. I was using this laptop for school purposes, specifically joining Ubuntu Server both static and dhcp and I used my laptop as a client. I upgraded this into windows 10 pro as it is required to enter a domain. The day after that, my PC started having its screen black. It is black but you can still see the lights on the screen like the one from booting but with nothing on screen whatsoever. And also, the road was bumpy yesterday so I'm also thinking maybe it knocked some parts loose that causes it to go black and have

Taco this could be software also. Before you get all crazy, do as Erocker suggested. Find out the error in the Event Viewer. Look for the faulting module and the error code itself. Also check the reliability monitor. At the bottom it will have "View all Error Reports". Post a screen of whats in there if anything.

This could be a simple as a bad driver install.

ALSO have you downloaded or installed anything lately? STAY OUT OF THE DAMN BIOS UNTIL WE KNOW THE ERROR! lol. I know you. Baby steps boy, baby steps.
