Windows 10: Black screen whenever i sign out or switch users

My dell device running windows 10 64 bit is having some newly discovered weird issue after a clean install, whenever i sign out or switch users i would get a black screen without cursor, no keyboard shortcuts seem to be working not even alt+ctrl+del. The only way out is through hard switch off It seems to be working just fine in safe mode on the other hand but i couldn't figure out the reason behind it yet I reinstalled the graphics drivers and did everything i could think of like unplugging and plugging the hdmi cable or turning the screen on and off?

Switch user from lock screen

I understand that you want to switch user from lock screen. I’ll certainly help you with the steps.



Once you lock the computer, to switch from one user account to another from the lock screen, select the user name from the list of available users at the bottom left of the sign-in screen, enter the credentials to sign-in.
