    After this morning's update my system is displaying the Windows logo and then a black screen. I tried starting while holding the shift key. Not tools options appear for repair. I held it through display of the logo. I also held the Windows key. Same result.

    • Were you able to get to the desktop screen after you restarted the system?
    • When the screen was blank, were you able to see the cursor on the screen?
    • Did you get any error code or error message?

    have tried following the steps of booting into safe mode, going into the control panel and uninstalling the latest windows update that caused the 'Windows black screen with cursor' error. However, now it wont even boot to the desktop, it will show 'Automatic repairs being done' and then automatically booting to safe mode. Upon checking my BIOS, the SSD drive with windows installed with it, is not even showing up in the boot list/priority. (still able to see drive in bios under System status and when checking under windows installation time.)
