Windows 10: Black Screen with cursor no task manager, safe mode also not available

    Black Screen with cursor no task manager, safe mode also not available


    Black Screen with cursor no task manager, safe mode also not available.

    It fixed once when i changed user.

    Worked for a day,then again black screen.

    Now it shows error message.

    Co proc update.xxxxxxx.exe. error

    ............................


    Please help.

    It is frozen or just black screen in Safe mode ?
    might try to repair Windows by an installation DVD or a USB stick

    Windows 10: Black screen with only a cursor, no task bar, but access to task manager, no Windows Explorer

    Getting a black screen after sign in to the Windows User. Tried booting to Safe Mode also. Black screen even in safe mode.

    Windows Explorer process is running. But no windows visible, not able to get access to any thing except task manager.

    Am unable to reset the PC or restore as there is no other backup available.

    We have Windows 10 installed on a Dell Laptop for months with only minor issues. All of a sudden it now only shows the black screen before Login. All the suggested fixes in other Posts don't help, even booting into safe mode only shows the black screen with
    mouse Cursor.

    I wonder if there is a way to remove the graphics Driver when in the repair mode command line?
