    Hi and thank you,I recently playing a game medium-high CPU usage and getting quite hot on my ASUS R501v8 laptop running on Windows 8 when the game froze and I was forced to quit it.The next time I ran it the game was lagging more then it has ever done before.The next time I turned on my laptop, it turned on, the ASUS logo appeared and the dots turned in a circle underneath it, then it went to a black screen for a long time. Eventually a ENG appeared in white near the middle of the bottom of the screen and on the other middle bottom side 4 connection bars also showed in white, flashing on a

    Hello.

    I was using my laptop as usual, but suddenly, the wallpaper turned black and my task bar disappeared. Think restarting would help, I held the power button to turn it off, and I turned it back on. I noticed my custom cursor was changed back to default. Weird.
    It had the normal log in screen, so I logged in. There was a black screen with only my cursor (back to custom) and a flickering task bar that I can not use. I cant get the search bar up by pressing the windows key.

    So then I tried to boot windows using the boot manager (f12) , and it told me that windows couldn’t launch properly, so I should either restart it or do advanced troubleshooting. Restarting gives me the same results.
