Windows 10: Black Screen with Mouse Cursor with continual repair loops

Many users are also reporting the same, one thought is that the user profile has become corrupt & the solution is to create a new one within cmd prompt under task manager. From the black screen press ctrl alt del to open task manager -> file -> run new task type "cmd.exe" without quotes, and check the admin privileges box. in cmd: type: net user /add [username] [password] username and password without [] press enter, then type: net localgroup administrators [username] /add https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport...s/dx8r5b1/Once logged into the new account you should be able to access the old account’s folders to transfer personal files over to the new account.

 

This is for those that are experiencing the black screen with cursor issue on Windows 10.

After trying all the usual methods and pulling my hair out for three days!
Tried the triple boot and jump into recovery mode... Tried repair, did not work.
Tried safe mode...could not get into any form...only had black screen with larger white cursor.

Tried the windows media creation tool and booted through USB...same as above.
No luck on all fronts.

I have taken some photos of what my computers (yes I have two that this has happened with)!
So frustrating its just not funny.

So I will post some images of my command prompt as this is the only area I can get into.
Was hoping to get into safe mode to try and uninstall the Nvidia drivers to see if that caused it.
But can't get into safe mode at all.

Not sure on the best way to post images in here from google drive?

Win 10 Upgrade from Win 7 running fine, then one day stuck in a loop upon startup Prearping Auto Repair then to Black Screen with Crusor.....

unfortunately that didn't not help either. the computer is already stuck in a loop that has it booting up to Preparing Auto Repair, but I still tried the method you described and it still just boots to a black screen with cursor showing. I have tried
to boot from a bottable USB and it does the same thing only it doesn't say Preparing Auto Repair, it just shows the windows 10 logo... then blink to black screen and cursor.

 

Stuck in an endless boot loop and Automatic Repair doesn't work, how do I fix this?

My PC is just stuck in an endless boot loop, it's just the windows logo with spinning dots. And the Automatic Repair... whenever I start it it just turns into a black screen with a cursor. Please help me, how do I fix this?

My PC were originally windows 7 and I did the 10 upgrade hence I have windows.old in there.

C is my main drive and I believe H is the partition, but I am thinking something maybe screwed up with the partition.

Ran chkdsk /r C: and this is the result, no errors.

 

Now these steps I am unsure of.

Not sure on how to get admin into the X:sources or where I need to run this sfc/scannow deal?

I know I have tried the bootrec/fixboot previously and it states "access denied" Do I have to be in admin for that?

Somehow picking up the windows.old for some reason!

How do I get it to pull up the correct windows 10 system and boot?

I ran the macrium reflect in the fix boot and it shows this. I can see windows 10 is there but I still have no idea on how to get it to boot correctly? Any suggestions?
