    Black Screen with music upon launching games, Not Responding


    Hey all, just completed a move, laptop was out of comission for a few months packed away, pulled it out of storage, updated it to windows 10. Tried launching several games I had no problem playing before (Hearthstone, Sims4, Civilization 4) and all I get is a black screen with the audio from splash, load, or title screen playing. The in game mouse shows, and reacts to where the in game buttons would be. Can only close the game with task manager.

    Went through a few forums, tried various fixes. Adjusting refresh rate, 32 compared to 64 bit, matched screen resolution, going into the specific game options and adjusting values there, checking the drivers for updated etc. Still stumped, ill post my DXdiag below, any help will be appreciated.

    Where's My Perry starts with a black screen in windows 10

    I bought the game "Where's My Perry" and installed it on my Windows 10 tablet in December. Upon launch it only shows a black screen. I find if I rotate my screen sideways (tall profile) it will load but the picture will be distorted. The Windows Store
    reviews show that others are having the same problem with Windows 10. I've reached out to the publisher in January but have not received a response.
