Windows 10: Black Screen

The screen on my other laptop suddenly went black. It is an MSI, Windows 10.


I followed all the recommendations I found on here, such as rebooting, unplugging adapter, pressing every different combination of things recommended and nothing works.


I don't quite get how they expect me to get to safe mode or do a clean reboot if the screen is black because it's BLACK, nothing, nada.


When it happened I was placing the computer from my lap to the table, but it didn't fall or nothing happened. I don't know if I could have accidentally hit a key to do this, but I've tried everything.


Any suggestions?
