Windows 10: Black Screening while gaming but can still hear discord and other audio.

Screen turns black while playing game can still hear audio though, have to reset pc or it'll be stuck on the black screen

It started while I was playing a game. My screen went black but I could still hear my friends in discord and the game audio and youtube in the background.

I waited a while to see if just the game simply crashed but my monitor never turned back on so I had to restart my pc.

 

Windows game bar not recording discord audio, Discord blocking all other audio sources

Windows 10, no speaker, I use my earbuds for sound/mic.
When I am in a discord call, I do not get any audio from other sources, only Discord. No game sounds, no Youtube, no Minecraft, no sound replaying when I change the volume. I've tried setting my audio devices and updating the drivers as well as messing around in Discord audio and video settings, but I can still only hear Discord.

When I record a clip from the last 30 seconds using XBox Gamebar, It does not pick up call audio from Discord, no audio from my voice either, but it does pick up game audio, system audio, etc.

Is there a way to be able to hear all forms of audio while in a call, as well as record all forms of audio using Xbox Gamebar?

We will need some more information to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps. Please reply with the following details:

• How are you recording the games or videos?
  
• When you say, “I can't hear anything” you are unable to get the in-game audio or your voice?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? To check type:
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
  Enter.
  

If you are using Game bar to record the games or videos, I suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + I to open
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Gaming.
   
3. Click on Capture on the left pane.
   
4. Clear the check box for Record gaming audio only.
   
5. Follow the same steps for Broadcasting.
