Windows 10: Black screens on start with new monitors

Hopefully the right place. Ive got two new 75 Hz hdmi monitors plugged into my gtx780. One via hdmi, the other via an adapter into the display port of the graphics card.

When booting with either alone there are no issues, when booting with either and a dvi monitor plugged in, also no issue. It is even fine with the two new monitors and a third dvi one. But, when booting with the two new monitors in the hdmi and dp slots, I get a post, then windows loading screen then black on both.

If I have one of the new monitors in and I'm successfully into Windows and I plug in the second, no matter which of the two slots I used first, the screens will then go black.

I've tried searching and haven't come up with anything that matches or fixes the issue. Any thoughts?

Windows 10 black screen on some monitors

Windows 10 Black screen, Start screen, Critical Low Battery

I would suggest you try the power troubleshooter if you are able to boot into the system.

Follow the steps below.

• Press Windows key + W and type Troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting and click on System and Security.
• Click on Power and follow the onscreen steps.
