Windows 10: Blank Screen, Loud Fan, Unresponsive PC

The above has been intermittently happening to me the past few weeks. I've found similiar discussions on here, with no real cause or resolution. I built my PC a little over a year ago, and have not changed anything since. Over the past few weeks I or my wife has been using it for various things web browsing, gaming when the display cuts out monitor remains ON, a loud fan noose comes from the case, and the computer remains ON. I had audio playing during one instance and it continued playing but got "stuck" and kept blaring one single sound. The only solution has been a restart. My thermals

Unresponsive Laptop with black screen and loud fans

Unresponsive laptop with black screen, loud fan noise. I turned my laptop to update and shutdown after some time when i comeback i see a black screen and fans working really loudly.I decided to check if it was oveheated. I checked and it was not! I tried to restart and it wasnt responding to me at all. It bas been 4hours into the night and it is still being loud with its fans. Please help immediately.

About every month or two, when I leave my Windows 11 Dell desktop on, and go and watch some TV in the evening, I come back to an unresponsive PC with a black screen, with loud fan noises and a high temperature. The only way to regain control is to power down, and then reboot.

This has never happened when I'm using it, which is most of the day, every day.

I'm not running any intensive/software games or graphics, just Edge and Chrome browsers, WhatsApp for PC, and Outlook (Office 365).

I worry about this because, if this were to happen at night when I'm asleep, who knows what could happen if the PC keeps overheating.

My Dell XPS 8940 runs Windows 11 22H2 (automatically kept fully up-to-date) on a i7-11700 @ 2.50GHz processor, running MalwareBytes Premium, with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card.

Can someone please tell me what is happening, and how I might fix this?

loud cpu fan

computer blue screened saying it overheated started back up fan on cpu was really loud.

dell dimension 4600c

thinking it jsut needs a new fan, checked bios doesnt seem to be anything in there about fan speed/temperatures/power management

looking for any possible suggestions before i order a new fan for the thing.
