Windows 10: Blank screen with curser after login in windows 11

Computer starts perfectly but as soon as it is logged in the screen turns blank with curse present on screen... No app is accessible even the task manager is not working with ctrl+atl+delete

Thank you for your reply. I will try what you have suggested. I am using windows 11 and never turn my desktop pc off but when I return from sleep and the login screen appears and try to enter my pin to log on I am able to enter the first and sometimes the second digit but then the mouse curser freezes and I cannot then enter the remaining digits for around 20 seconds or until the curser flashes again. My Pc is up to date with all the latest updates and drivers and I did a clean install of windows 11

I have a Lenovo All in One and while using my screen went blank . Now the only thing that is visible on the black or gray screen is the curser arrow for the mouse and nothing else , Any suggestions ?

 

Windows 11 Blank Screen Before Login

Intermittently on power-up the screen will go blank instead of showing the login page. Windows 11 will (sometimes) show the Windows logo and spinner for a few seconds before this event occurs. This blank black screen continues for an extended period of time, up to five minutes, while unknown disk accesses are being made. The HDMI output may cut off near the end of this time, then the Windows login page appears as normal.

This may be related to Windows updates being made during startup and prior to login, but since the system refuses to output that is speculation. This abusive disregard of the user cannot be interrupted via keystrokes, only through the power or reset switches.

BTW running a Ryzen 5 5600 on an ASUS B550+ motherboard with a Nvidia 3060 GPU. Fast start is disabled as OS is on NVMe.

I certainly cannot recommend Windows 11 to others when it behaves like this.
