Windows 10: Blank screen with mouse curser only after windows 11 updates.

Just had windows 11 updates and when I log back in I have the usual splash screen. But when I enter the account to get to my desktop, the screen is blank with only the mouse curser. The mouse curser can be moved, but nothing else on screen including lack of a Taskbar. I can ctl alt del and bring up task manager but that is it. Tried a system restore and sometimes it works, others it doesnt.

I have a Lenovo All in One and while using my screen went blank . Now the only thing that is visible on the black or gray screen is the curser arrow for the mouse and nothing else , Any suggestions ?

Method 1: Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your devices. Refer these steps:

To fix the issue with cursor, try the following method.

Method 2: I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the mouse driver from device manager and check.

• Press Windows and X keys together
• Click on Device Manager.
  
• Select Mice and other pointing devices from the list.
• Uninstall by right clicking on the driver.
• Restart the system, the driver will be automatically installed.

At first startup after updating to Windows 10 screen is black with curser blinking in upper left corner. No response from mouse or keyboard. What is the solution?
