  1. Blender; How do I get a realistic movement (gang)?

    Hello,

I've been experimenting with Blender again.

In the game, a ball is supposed to bounce off an object so that it doesn't always go straight but in a different direction depending on the VU (the word from "billiard jargon") of the object.

can somebody give me some guidance on this?

    :)

How can I open an .obj file in Blender

    Hi Joshy

Setting File Associations in Windows 10 is currently a bit buggy

Right click an obj file, choose 'Open WIth' - Choose Another App

IMPORTANT - Check the box marked 'Always use this app to open objx . . .'

If Blender is not in the list, scroll to the bottom and click 'More Apps'

Again if Blender is not in the list, at the bottom, click 'Look for another app on this PC', then navigate to find the blender executable and choose that

    That is located here:

    C:/program files (x86)/blender foundation/blender/blender.exe

That's It, once that is done, you should be able to double click an obj file to open it in Blender . . .

    Blender compatibility for windows 10

    Hi Sean,

Which version of Blender is installed on the computer?

I see that Blender, version 2 is compatible with Windows 10. To verify, click the following link.

Explore Windows 10 OS, Computers, Apps, & More | Microsoft

If you are using the compatible version, then the issue could be due to some third party services or applications.

Place the computer in clean boot and check if the issue persists. You may follow the article mentioned to perform a clean boot.

A clean boot allows the Windows operating system to launch without any additional programs or services running when you turn the computer on. This allows you to determine if computer issues are caused by a program or service that starts up when you
    boot the machine.

    Refer: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After performing the troubleshooting steps, check the section
“how to reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting".

Please update us with the status. We will be glad to assist you.
