Windows 10: Block Unwanted Automatic News Popup in Windows 11

How to I stop this unwanted popup? I've attached a screen capture. It shows up on the left side of my monitor every day upon booting. I don't want this. For years this wasn't occurring then suddenly - out of the blue - I have this annoying popup appearing every day when I boot my machine.

How to block popups on IE

Hello,

Kindly try the steps below and check if this helps in blocking popups on Internet Explorer.

• Open Internet Explorer.
• Click on Tools from top right corner.
• Select Internet Options and click on Privacy tab.
• At the bottom of the Privacy tab, you should have a Pop-up Blocker
  section. If you want pop-ups to be blocked, check the "Block pop-ups" option.

• (Optional) STEP 4: Reset the browser settings to their original defaults
• (Optional) STEP 5: Double-check for malicious programs with Zemana AntiMalware
