Windows 10: Blocked from downloading Windows 11

Hey, whenever i try to download Windows 11 i get this error message German:Wir können Ihre Anfrage derzeit nicht abschließend bearbeiten. Für bestimmte Benutzer*innen, juristische Personen und Standorte ist die Nutzung dieses Dienstes untersagt. Daher ist bei der Verbindung mit diesem Dienst die Verwendung von Technologien, die die Identität oder den Standort verschleiern, generell nicht zulässig. Wenn Sie der Meinung sind, dass hier ein Fehler vorliegt, versuchen Sie es bitte erneut. Wenn das Problem weiterhin besteht, wenden Sie sich an den Microsoft-Support, um Unterstützung zu erhalten.

Could you provide more information?

Are you using any third party antivirus?

Any application of VPN software?

Downloading ISOs for Windows 7, 8.1, 10

Thanks for the heads up about IE 11. I didn't see the requirements listed on the page I downloaded from....Internet Explorer 11 is blocked(Aegis for Windows 7/8.x) from being installed on my pc and I've uninstalled IE 8...could be why it doesn't work.

At least I know why....*Smile

how to upgrade to windows11 after blocking it

I blocked my windows 10 upgrades to go 11 ,using this method:

To Block Windows 11 update, see the steps below, which is explained later on step by step. This would also work even if you have clicked Download and install.

• Right-click Start and select Windows Powershell(admin).
  
• Press Yes when Prompted.
  
• Type cmd.exe to open Command Prompt inside Powershell.
  

Paste the following command to enable Targeted Updates to a specific release:

• reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate /v TargetReleaseversion /t REG_DWORD /d 1
  

If you are on Windows 10 version 21H2, use the command below:

• reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate /v TargetReleaseversionInfo /t REG_SZ /d 21H2
  

If you are on Windows 10 version 21H1, use the command below:

• reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate /v TargetReleaseversionInfo /t REG_SZ /d 21H1
