Windows 10: Blocked internet via Edge update

HelloIm having a problem with internet Connection. After Microsoft Edge update And Chrome update that happened exactly on the same day And same time i cannot access internet… it appears to be a nasty virus. However non of the antivirus software are manage to find affected file.Tried different access points, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, clearing dns, network reset, firewall disable, antivirus disable, reinstalling windows with keeping files… all this am still joy. I’m unable to uninstall or install new version of edge. Tried uninstalling edge via power shell but Microsoft blocks that. Google chrome update

• When you say that "Skype just stopped working", are you referring to skype downloaded from website or default skype app installed on Windows 10?
• Have you tried to download Skype through other browser as Firefox which is installed on your computer?

I suggest you to follow the steps below to clear browsing history of Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge browser. Check if it helps.

Step 1: Try to clear browsing history of Internet Explorer.

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. Then click on Settings which is present on the top right corner of the browser.

3. Click on Internet Options.

4. Then click on General tab.

5. Click on Delete button and choose the options to delete the browsing history.

6. Click on Delete.



Step 2: I suggest you to try clearing history of Microsoft Edge browser and also check if cookies is not blocked.

1. Open Microsoft Edge.

2. Click on Three dots symbol (...)
which is at the top right corner of the browser and click on Settings.

3. Click on Choose What to Clear.

4. Choose the options in the list and click on
Clear.



Steps 3: Try to check if cookies is not blocked in the Microsoft Edge.

1. Open Microsoft Edge.

2. Click on Three dots symbol (...)
which is at the top right corner of the browser and click on Settings.

3. Click on View advanced settings.

4. Then under Cookies, select Don't block cookies.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
