Windows 10: Blocking anyone else from signing in

So I'm running the latest Windows version on my laptop. My brother - who seems to be addicted to any type of electronic device - keeps getting desperate and tries to keep sneak use my laptop whenever I'm asleep or not there to be guarding it myself. I've already changed the password on my account, but it seems he's found a workaround by signing in with his email. My guess is that he's making alt accounts so he can use my pc - I've been in the Control Panel and found a second account created with his credentials on it. How do I stop him from making other accounts/signing in my laptop??? I use i

About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Sign in options.
• On the right side, you will see required sign in.
• Change it to Never.

UAC prompt for Task Manager. MMC blocked. What happened?

It's possible that Computer Management is being blocked by SmartScreen. We suggest disabling it and see if it helps. Follow the steps below:

1. Click the Start button.
2. Type smartscreen in the search bar.
3. Click Change SmartScreen settings.
4. Click the drop-down arrow in the Security row.
5. Click Change settings beneath the WindowsSmartScreen row.
6. Click Don't do anything (turn off Windows SmartScreen).
7. Click OK.

 

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
