Windows 10: Blocking emails

I was receiving help from LPM on how to block emails. He made a suggestion yesterday as to how this might be achieved. When I tried to respond to him my email was blocked three times by Microsoft.

This is the response that I sent this morning:



Not sure how to answer your question. When I switch on my laptop, I can access my emails immediately - I do not have to open Google Chrome.

Following your suggested operation - if I select an email that I want to block, the top toolbar has Reply; Reply All; Forward; Archive; Delete; Set Flag. In other words I cannot select Junk as it is not on the toolbar!

Block a sender or contact from sending emails in Gmail or Outlook.com

in response to the inconvenience that is presented by not wanting to receive emails from a Gmail account, if you are suffering from harassment we ask you to send all the information you can to:

Try blocking the address by following these steps:

1- Enter in Outlook.com, click on the gear (options).

2- Tap on more mail configuration options.

3- In the section to avoid unwanted email and click on safe and blocked senders.

4- Enter blocked senders and then enter the email address and click on add to the list.

With this option you should not receive more emails, in such case to carry out these steps and these emails keep coming to you please notify the abuse address provided.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps:

• Log in to https://familysafety.microsoft.com/ using your Microsoft Email account.
• Find the user that is correspond to the computer account on the Windows that you are having issue with.
• Click on "App Restrictions".
• Under App Restrictions, click on "App list".
• Here, you can Allow or Block the Apps/Games that you want.
