Windows 10: Blu-ray Disc Drive ABHCA-H not working in Windows 10 Home version

Device Manager list the CD/DVD Rom Drives and Shows "hp BDRW UJ272" listed, but does not recognize the drive. I have gone through many troubleshooting tips on the internet, including and not limited to deleting and rebooting, which then reinstall the device, but it still in not recognized when trying to play any kind of disc.

would appreciate some help as my laptop no longer seems to read blu ray discs or even a external blu ray player that i bought

Both cds and dvds play fine but blu ray discs are still not working. It still will not recognise blu rays in both the bdrom drive and external blu ray drive i bought

• Open Device Manager.
  
• Double-click Disk drives to expand the list.
  
• Right-click your external CD/DVD USB device, then click
  Properties.
  
• Go to Driver tab.
  
• Click Uninstall.
  
• Reboot your computer.
  

If the issue still persists, we recommend trying another Blu ray disc to help isolate if the issue is with the CD.
