    Hi there.

    Panasonic Matshita UJ272 Blu-Ray Internal Burner Bd-r/RE XL 100 GB Drive for Laptop with SATA Connection and Ultra Slimline 9.5 mm Drive Bay

    Anybody tries these yet --I'm particularly interested if they will fit into 9.5inch small form factor used on those small cube boxes such as micro servers / NAS boxes etc etc).

    DVD isn't yet totally dead and this seem a neater solution than kludging around with external drives. OK it's not cheap compared with standard larger models but it WRITES and is small form factor.

    Any drawbacks with this device. It's also TRAY loading - always IMO better than Slot loading. I can change the Bezel too if need be.

    on Win 10, how do I change a new, blank BD disk that's write-protected so that I can burn files to disk?

    According to this site Matshita BD-CMB UJ160 sata bd-rom blu-ray combo drive that model doesn't have blu Ray write capabilities - just read only. Are you sure your drive is a blu Ray writer?
