Windows 10: Blue iCE Black Microphone not recognized

I just bought a BLUE Snowball ice and plugged it in my Windows 10 PC and it gives me the following error
"Device Descriptor Request Failed"
Already tried all YouTube options like "plugging the USB upside down" or "uninstalling driver, rebooting and replugging the device" but nothing worked so far.

What should I do?

This might be due to some incorrect audio settings or it might be due to the outdated audio HD drivers. Let’s try the following methods and check if that resolves the issue.

Method 1: Make sure that the Microphone is not disabled.



Make sure that the Microphone is not disabled. Follow the steps given to check that:



a) Right click on the volume icon and select “Recording devices”.

b) Now, Right Click on an empty space and select, “Show disconnected devices” and “Show disabled devices”.

c) Make sure that the Microphone is not disabled.

Method 2: Set microphone as default device.

I suggest you to set your microphone as default device and check if it helps. You may follow the steps below for that.

1. Right click on the volume icon in the system tray and then click "Recording devices"

2. Right click on Microphone and then click "Enable".

3. Highlight the microphone and then choose "Set as Default Device".

4. Click Apply and OK.

If issue still persists go to the Blue Ice Microphone
manufacturer’s website and search for the latest Windows 10 audio drivers available and then install it by following the instructions given in the website.

Blue Ice Microphone won't work in Windows 10

Hi,

I just bought a Blue Ice microphone for voice acting. I can't get it to work.

It is plugged into the computer and I can see it and select it but it won't work. The mic wasn't designed for Cortana and she can't hear it. The audio troubleshooter and find any problems. The programs I used with it were Audacity and Sonar. Neither worked.
Please help.

I've done every thing from doing this

And I do not know what else to do as I sent the Microphone back to manufactures and they said it worked so it might be the PC and I do have Windows ten and I'm out of ideas
