Windows 10: Blue Ray Optical Drive Driver no longer works after WIN10 Upgrade

My Blue Ray Optical Drive Driver no longer works after WIN10 Upgrade. It worked before the upgrade. I backed out the previous upgrade because it quit working then and I gave the reason that it no longer worked. It is a MATSHITA BD Drive. The Driver does not install. When will this be fixed?

Windows 10 Driver for Optical Drive with Lightscribe

I am looking for a specific Windows 10 driver (not the common cd-rom driver) for a TSSTCorp_CDDVDW_SH_S223L optical drive. It is also sometimes listed as a Samsung drive. It is a dual-layer capable DVD drive with Lightscribe. For some reason, the standard
cd-rom driver replaced the specific driver and I lost the dual-layer and Lightscribe capability. I know it is an older drive, but it works perfectly and just needs a driver for Win10.

I also would like a Win10 driver for my Sony BDU-X10S Blu-Ray reader.

Assuming I did the steps correctly, this is where I am now.

Screenshot 12 shows my CD Disc shortcut on my desktop.
Screenshot 10 shows the CD Drive shortcut listed in the “Send to” listing.
Screenshot 11 shows the “Send to” listing after the steps were taken, but the CD drive name is not listed.

So, it appears the steps did not work for me. And, I did try the steps, “If it still won’t do ……” and still no luck.

Installation Drive Not Found After Upgrade WIN10

• I upgraded to WIN 10 from a usb 2.0 optical disk drive.

• After the upgrade the device is no longer listed on the device manager.

• The drive is still listed in the BIOS.

• No flags or errors appear in the device manager.

• Windows plays a tone when the optical drive is connected via usb.

• Adding a registry key had no effect. I tried from elevated cmd/regedit windows.

The drive is an ASUS SBC-06D2X-U External Slim Blu-ray Combo

Your help is appreciated.
