Windows 10: Blue screen after Microsoft updates

The latest updates were from Microsoft and now my computer shuts down after 30 seconds. It says it is gathering info and will restart soon but never does. I was able to get into safe mode but it will not allow me to uninstall the updates. Said i cannot be in safe mode to do so. How am i to uninstall when safe mode is all i can work on?
