Windows 10: Blue screen and computer not recognizing monitor

Got a blue screen and windows telling me it will restart. Waited a few hours and no restart so i did a hard restart. Trying to turn it back on, it won't recognize monitor. Don't know if this is a hardware issue or not but my computer is old and has no warranty. I know that the montitor and display port cable are not faulty. What could the problem be?

Before we proceed I would like you to answer the following question:

• 
  What is the make and model of your computer?
  
• 
  Did you make any changes prior to the issue?
  

The issue might occur due to Viruses, or something changing/deleting in Registry Files, a failure during Bootup, or a corrupt file which could be due to age of a computer or viruses or somebody tampering with files.
