Windows 10: Blue Screen BSOD When Running Flutter App on Android Studio Emulator

Hello,I am experiencing a blue screen BSOD crash whenever I try to run a Flutter application on the Android Studio emulator. The moment the emulator starts and the app launches, my system crashes with a blue screen.

Android Emulator Causes Windows Crash and goes to BSOD

Hi,

There is an issue with Android Emulator with Visual Studio 2019 as well as Android Studio, that whenever trying to open the emulator the windows crashes and enters BSOD (Status : “clock watchdog timeout”).

This issue has started after a patch update for windows (KB4554354 (OS Build 17763.1132)).

Troubleshooting done so far,

1. We have tried reinstalling the VS 2019 along with Xamarin and freshly created new emulator (x86 processor, API 27/28 etc…)
2. Tried to install android studio and running the newly created emulator.
3. Repair the visual studio 2019.

Nothing works and we are out of help from any source.

We are sure that the patch update was the issue causing the problem.

Cannot open android studio emulator when wsl2 is active

Hi

I recently bought new laptop with win 10 and upgraded to win 11

I have installed wsl2 with ubuntu for running docker and android studio for developing android apps

I cannot start emulator when wsl2 is active

I have to use below command to run my android studio emulator

bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off

and similarly I have to use

bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype auto

to run ubuntu using wsl2

then again android studio emulator stops to work

I have to restart every time when i run above command which is tedious

DXGKRNL_VIDEO_FATAL_ERROR when using android emulator

Hi

When I open android emulator and start debugging in flutter, the laptop goes to blue screen (BSOD) with the code: DXGKRNL_VIDEO_FATAL_ERROR and then it restarts.

My laptop model is Asus X515JF with intel i5 1035G1 and MX-130

My Windows version:

Edition Windows 11 Home Single Language

Version 21H2

Installed on ‎6/‎27/‎2022

OS build 22000.739

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.739.0

Notes:

• When I use software for graphics it works well, the problem is with hardware acceleration.
  
• When I played a game using MX-130 it worked well, so I think it is not corrupted.
