Windows 10: BLUE Screen crash (KMODE Exception not handled) Windows 10 when attempting LAN file transfer

I have been using SYNCTOY 2.1 to sync my laptop and desktop files successfully for several months (Dell Inspiron 5555 laptop Windows Version 1809 and HP Elite Desk 800G2 Windows Version 1803 connected via LAN) and recently when I initiate a folder pair SYNC run, I get a bluescreen (KMODE exception not handled) and machine restarts on the target computer. This occurs if I initiate the SYNC from either machine. It also occurs if I use File Explorer to view files on the LAN connected machine, again to the target computer.

I uninstalled all the windows updates (from both machines) that were installed after the last time I successfully ran SYNCTOY, and continued to have the same issue. FIX=NO

Since these machines are connected to a wired LAN, I used the wireless connection on the laptop. FIX = NO

Looking at the Error Log from the laptop, I found this that seemed to be related:​
