    Blue Screen - Critical process died


    Woke up this morning to my PC restarted on a blue screen. The error code is critical process died. Every time I restart my computer it gets me to log into windows and as my apps are loading up, 10-20 secs after I get the blue screen. It just keeps on repeating.

    I know it can be either a hardware or OS issue (likely OS), but is there anything I can do without having to do a fresh install?

    I have had some power outages within the last month and my PC has restarted randomly a few times especially during the nights.

    Would doing a windows repair from a bootable USB possibly repair what’s causing my issue?

    I plan on trouble shooting when I get home today from work to determine if hardware or OS but wanted to see if anyone else have had similar issues where they were able to repair rather than do a fresh install.

    I have a few files I need to retrieve so trying to look for what my options can be.
