Windows 10: Blue Screen error "BAD POOL HEADER" while playing Cities:Skyline

Hello there,

Since the new Windows 10 Creators Update my computer got suddenly slower wich in some games like a sudden frame drop (60 to 14). I was just playing Cities:Skyline when suddenly it crashed and right afterwards giving me a Bluescreen (BAD POOL HEADER). Furthermore, I also saw on my events log a recurring error "NVDisplay.Container.exe has stopped working" causing lags and crashes on my computer. I did not clock my hardware in any way and cleaned my pc from dust for a possible overheating problem.

Unable to update to windows 10

 

Blue Screen "Bad Pool Header" after upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10.

Just upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Now getting frequent reboots wih Blue Screen "Bad Pool Header". Need a resolution that a non IT user can use to resolve the problem.

 

Please uninstall the Kasperski Antivirus software and try using your PC again. You can use Windows Defender and will be protected sufficiently for troubleshooting purposes.

Thank you for the reply and for the help on my problem. However, I have one question why does my system apparently cause problems with Kaspersky Antivirus software which I do not understand? Furthermore, I am sometimes very skeptical about Windows Defender's way of Internet Security and it's reliability because some of my friends say that it is not that efficient or reliable. Therefore, is it reliable or not ?

 

I believe WD is as efficient and reliable as many of the other AV systems. It's the only one I use.

As to why Kaspersky may be playing up on your system I do not know - it is my first suggestion for troubleshooting your problem based on what I see in the BSOD analysis.
